The Circle, every rule in one place
Resonance, Fragments, Residus, the Workshop, the Passages, CIR requests and the community vote. What each thing does, what it costs, what changes every cycle, and what you keep.
Back to CIR overviewHold, resonate, choose
Hold a circle, put it In Resonance, and it earns Fragments every day. Fragments are spent in the Workshop and on Passages, or kept as tickets for community redistributions. Every 37 days the cycle closes and the community decides what the treasury does next. Fragments are never reset: they keep accumulating as long as your circle stays In Resonance.
- Fragments are earned by your circles In Resonance, on the site. They accumulate from cycle to cycle and are lost only when a circle leaves Resonance.
- Shards are earned in the Arcade games. They never reset. Holders can forge them into Fragments in the Workshop.
- Wefts are backgrounds you win in the Workshop. They stay yours until you wear them or burn them.
- Passages are raffles offered by partner collections. Entry costs 1 Fragment.
- CIR requests are new artwork for your circle, paid in ETH.
- Convergence is the community vote that closes each cycle.
The 37-day cycle
Everything in the Circle runs on 37-day cycles, counted in UTC. Cycle 2 runs from 24 September to 31 October 2026. Cycle 3 starts on 31 October 2026 and ends on 7 December 2026. The change happens at 00:00 UTC.

Resonance is the door
Resonance is the engagement state of a circle, recorded off-chain and checked against Ethereum mainnet. A circle In Resonance earns Fragments, gives access to CIR requests, the Workshop and the Passages, and counts toward your vote eligibility.
Activation cost
Activating Resonance on a circle costs the current recorded floor price, paid entirely to the community treasury. Reactivating after a break costs the floor again, at its value on that day. The cost is deliberate: it discourages entering and leaving casually.
Price discount
For standard backgrounds and transformations, each circle In Resonance beyond the first lowers the floor-based price by 3%, up to 21%. Custom requests and new circles use their listed price.
| CIRCLES IN RESONANCE | DISCOUNT |
|---|---|
| 1 | no discount |
| 2 | −3% |
| 3 | −6% |
| 4 | −9% |
| 5 | −12% |
| 6 | −15% |
| 7 | −18% |
| 8+ | −21% (maximum) |
Seniority
Seniority is the number of continuous days of your oldest circle still In Resonance. It remains relevant to community vote eligibility at 37 days. Personalized requests are available as soon as you have an active circle In Resonance.
What breaks Resonance
- Listing the circle for sale on a marketplace. A listed circle is not committed.
- Transferring or selling the circle. The new owner starts fresh.
- Breaking it yourself from your Resonance page.
When a circle leaves Resonance, for any reason (listed for sale, transferred or broken by hand), the Fragments carried by that circle are destroyed. Your other circles keep theirs, and your discount is recalculated on the circles that remain.
Back to contentsFragments, earned and spent within a cycle
Fragments are non-transferable points tracked per circle. They accumulate continuously, from one cycle to the next, and only whole Fragments can be spent. A purchase takes an equal share from each of your circles In Resonance; a circle that cannot cover its share gives what it has and the others cover the rest. With a single circle, it pays everything.
They are separate from what you earn in the Arcade games. The only bridge between the two is the Fragment Converter, where holders forge their Shards.
How you earn them
| SOURCE | RATE | CONDITION |
|---|---|---|
| Resonance | +1 per day, per circle (+3 until Cycle 2) | The circle is In Resonance. A full cycle gives 37 per circle. |
| CIR production bonus | +1 to +7 per day | On the circle concerned, while a paid request is in production. |
| Fragment Converter | Depends on the curve | Arcade Shards, at least one circle In Resonance. |
How you use them
| USE | COST | NOTE |
|---|---|---|
| Background draws | 4, 6, 9, 14, 20, 30… | After the free draw of the cycle. Each paid draw costs half as much again as the previous one. |
| Animation draw | 20 | Each draw requires 20 Fragments and available stock. |
| Passage entry | 1 | One chance per wallet per Passage. |
| Redistribution tickets | Not spent | When Loyalty Echoes wins, each whole Fragment held at cycle close is one draw ticket. |
Redistribution, a weighted draw
If the community votes for Loyalty Echoes, the treasury buys NFTs from the external collection the community chose. Tickets are frozen at cycle close. Once the purchased NFTs are confirmed in the treasury and the prize list is locked, a public, verifiable draw runs automatically. More tickets improve your chances, nothing guarantees a win, and each wallet receives at most one NFT. Pieces are assigned at random, not by rank.
From the Arcade to the Circle
The Arcade games pay in Residus, which each game forges into Shards. Shards never reset. Holders with a circle In Resonance can forge them into Fragments in the Workshop: each Fragment of the cycle costs more Shards than the one before, and the Workshop shows the price of the next one. The Fragments land on your lowest-numbered circle In Resonance.
Back to contentsWefts and animations
The Workshop has three benches: the Fragment Converter above, the Background Draw, and the Animation Loom.
The Background Draw
Each draw gives you a Weft, a background from the catalogue. If you hold a circle In Resonance, your first draw of the cycle is free. After that, draws cost Fragments: 4, then 6, 9, 14, 20, 30, half as much again each time.
The real odds are shown per Weft in the catalogue, read live from the remaining stock. A tier that runs out stops taking probability, and a draw never comes back empty: if a tier is exhausted at the last moment, you receive the next more common one, never a rarer one.
| TIER | COPIES | BURN VALUE |
|---|---|---|
| Common | Unlimited | 2 Shards |
| Rare | 5 or 7 | 4 Shards |
| Animated | 1 | 8 Shards |
| Exclusive | 2 or 3 | 15 Shards |
| Unique | 1 | 30 Shards |
What you can do with a Weft
- Keep it. It never expires, even after its background leaves the catalogue.
- Wear it. Apply it to a circle you hold through a CIR request: the floor minus your Resonance discount, in ETH. Animated Wefts become animated backgrounds. The original background is never lost; it stays as the first version of the piece. One open Weft quote at a time.
- Burn it. It returns Arcade Shards by tier, credited to your Arcade account. Your account must be linked to your Arcade progress.
Holding surcharge
A Weft kept too long costs more to wear. The count is in days since you won it, so a Weft won on the last day of a cycle still gets its full 37 days.
| DAYS SINCE THE DRAW | SURCHARGE ON WEARING |
|---|---|
| 0 to 36 | none |
| 37 to 73 | +50% |
| 74 to 110 | +100% |
| 111 and more | +150% (maximum) |
A catalogue that changes every cycle
The catalogue belongs to a cycle. Before each new cycle, the team publishes the next selection: most backgrounds change, and a few may carry over. The 18 plain colours from the original mint are a permanent base, always available as Common. A background you miss may not come back, which is what gives the free draw of the cycle its weight.
The Animation Loom
Animations are drawn and animated by WON3A, in limited editions shown live in the Loom. Each draw costs 20 Fragments, with no free draw or per-cycle limit. An empty or exhausted catalogue charges nothing. You win an animation right that never expires; one right creates one new circle, through a paid request at floor + 200%, or floor + 300% personalized. The right is reserved when you take the quote, released if the quote expires or is cancelled, and used once the new circle is minted to you.
Back to contentsRaffles from partner collections
Partner collections offer allowlist spots to the Circle. Each offer is reviewed by the team before it is published on the Passages. Anyone can see the open Passages; entering is for members.
To enter
- Sign in with your wallet, with at least one circle In Resonance.
- Link your X account in your profile. Discord is optional, unless a task asks you to join a server.
- Complete the partner's tasks: follow, repost or join. The site checks them on X and Discord before charging anything.
- Accept the conditions. Entry costs 1 Fragment.
One chance per wallet, and each X account can enter a Passage only once. A failed check charges nothing. A task confirmed once stays confirmed for that Passage. Checks are limited to one per minute and 5 per day per wallet, and X only shows us your most recent follows and posts, so follow or repost just before checking; a check refused by X or Discord itself, for example when the service is unavailable, is not counted.
The draw
When a Passage closes, the list of entrants is sealed with anonymous references, and its fingerprint is published before the random number exists. The draw then uses a public randomness beacon, drand, so anyone can recompute the result from the published proof. Spots are awarded in the announced order: the first winners receive the first allocation, then the next. Your results appear in your profile, where you can hide them; the entry and the public proof remain.
Reporting a Passage
Every Passage is reviewed by the team before publication. If one still looks suspicious, any member with a circle In Resonance can report it from its page, once. After three reports, the Passage is paused: no entry and no draw until the team reviews it, then either reopens it or cancels it and returns every Fragment.
If a Passage is cancelled
Your Fragment is returned automatically. If you have no circle In Resonance at that moment, the refund waits in your profile and you can claim it once one of your circles is In Resonance again.
Back to contentsFive ways to evolve the Circle
Prices
Standard backgrounds and transformations cost the recorded floor minus your Resonance discount. Personalized requests and new circles cost the floor plus the percentage shown, with no Resonance discount.
| REQUEST | STANDARD | PERSONALIZED | ACCESS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Static background | Wear a won Weft · floor − discount | New artwork from your brief · floor + 160% | Weft for standard; active Resonance for personalized |
| Animated background | Wear a won animated Weft · floor − discount | New artwork from your brief · floor + 220% | Weft for standard; active Resonance for personalized |
| Transformation | Floor − discount · your palette | Floor + 300% · palette & brief | Active Resonance; no draw needed |
| New circle from an animation | Floor + 200% | Floor + 300% | An animation right from the Loom, won for 60 Fragments |
| Entirely bespoke circle | Floor + 700%, with a minimum creator payment | Active Resonance; brief approved before payment | |
Personalized percentages are starting values set in administration; the quote is what counts. A setting change never alters a quote you can already pay. A bespoke brief is priced when it is approved and must be paid within 24 hours. A Weft may carry its holding surcharge on top of the price.
The treasury circle
Each delivered new circle sets aside up to one recorded floor of its community share for secondary-market buybacks of circles. Active orders, refunds and creator payments are protected first. Bought circles stay in the treasury; no burn and no supply reduction. Any redistribution of them needs a later community decision. This envelope does not guarantee a listing, a floor or a buyback.
Back to contentsPayment order, with one paid exception
- Requests follow confirmed payment order. Fast Track requests go first.
- One active request per wallet at a time. Another can be submitted as soon as the previous request is complete.
- A quote must be paid within 24 hours.
- Holding more circles or Fragments does not move a request forward.
A limited queue
Production capacity is 37 slots by default. It counts every unexpired payable quote and all work still queued or in production. A bespoke brief enters the workload only once approved.
Fast Track
| Supplement | 70% of the discounted request price, added separately |
| Destination | 100% to the community treasury |
| Limit | 1 per wallet per cycle |
| Effect | Head of the queue |
A paid order the team cannot fulfil is refunded in full, Fast Track included.
Back to contentsThe fine print, in advance
Floor drop protection
If the recorded floor at delivery is strictly more than 20% below the recorded floor at payment, a refund is due to the original paying wallet, capped at 20% of the total request payment, Fast Track included. No refund is due at exactly 20%. The founder share is not reduced.
Sale before delivery
For a request on an existing circle, the finished artwork follows the token if it changes owner during production. Any refund goes to the original paying wallet.
"In Production" image
While a request is in production, the token shows an "In Production" image in its metadata, visible on marketplaces. It is a public signal that the circle is changing.
Price lock
A quote fixes the amount due for its payment window. A rising floor does not increase a quote you can already pay. Full payment is required before any work begins.
Anti-manipulation
- Listing a circle In Resonance breaks its Resonance and destroys that circle's Fragments.
- New-circle percentages are added to the floor: +200% means three times the floor before any discount. These prices do not guarantee resale value.
- One X account enters a Passage once, and one Discord account backs one voting member.
The community vote
At the end of each cycle, the community decides what the voting budget does: 70% of the available community funds. It chooses among five options, and a separate vote picks the external collection when Loyalty Echoes wins.
| OPTION | WHAT IT DOES |
|---|---|
| Loyalty Echoes | The treasury buys NFTs from the external collection chosen by the community, then redistributes them by weighted draw. |
| Buyback | The treasury buys circles on the secondary market for the community reserve. No burn. |
| Contributor Bounties | Public contributor tasks are funded; every payment is logged on-chain with its hash. |
| Donation | The cycle's share goes to an association or public-interest project that accepts ETH, voted and announced before the transfer. |
| Reserve | Funds stay in the treasury and carry over to the next cycle. |
During the cycle, holders In Resonance can propose candidate collections with an OpenSea link on the Convergence page.
From Cycle 3: one member, one voice
- Become a member. Register your Discord user ID on the Convergence page. The team checks the account and its link to your wallet. A Discord account can be validated only once.
- Be eligible. At the opening of the vote, your oldest circle In Resonance must have 37 continuous days. The list of voters is frozen at that moment and does not grow afterwards.
- Vote in the final seven days. All options open together. Each member spreads 100 equal points across them, and gives one voice to a candidate collection. Both choices can be revised until the cycle closes.
- Quorum. At least 20% of the frozen list must vote, rounded up. Without quorum, or with a tie at the top, funds stay in reserve. The collection vote only applies if Loyalty Echoes wins.
Membership limits the use of several wallets by one person; it is not an absolute proof of identity. Fragments remain Workshop currency and redistribution tickets, but they add no voting weight. From Cycle 3, a wallet's tickets are the smallest of three numbers: its Fragment balance, the Fragments it earned in the last 37 days, and a cap of 333. A large old stock does not decide the draw alone.
Cycle 2: the vote in Fragments
The cycle running until 31 October 2026 keeps the rules it opened with, to protect the ballots already cast. Holders In Resonance spread their weight across the options, and that weight is their Fragment balance at cycle close. A distribution can be submitted three times. Options stay sealed until Catalysts open them, or until day 29 of the cycle, when everything still sealed opens.
Catalysts
Catalysts are granted by the team for community tasks. The number needed to open a proposal follows the number of holders In Resonance: 15% of them, at least 3 and at most 12. In Cycle 2, Catalysts decide when a proposal joins the vote. From Cycle 3, they start a collective discussion; they add no weight and do not move the voting window. Your Catalysts do not reset with the cycle.
Back to contentsWhere the money goes
1 · CIR commission
Discounted order price: 70% community treasury, 30% founder. Resonance activation, Fast Track and other receipts: 100% community treasury.
2 · Convergence
Available community funds: 70% voting budget, 30% emergency buffer. No founder share is taken from Convergence.
An example with 1 ETH
A 1 ETH CIR order without Fast Track gives 0.30 ETH to the founder and 0.70 ETH to community funds. Once the order is delivered and refund obligations are settled, that contribution represents 0.49 ETH for Convergence and 0.21 ETH kept in the buffer, assuming no other funds or obligations.
Available funds after obligations
All payments arrive at the treasury wallet. Paid but unfinished orders are kept aside so they can be refunded in full. After delivery, unpaid founder shares, floor-protection refunds and the buyback envelopes of new circles stay excluded. Convergence uses 70% of what remains. If accounting cannot be read, the budget is shown as unavailable. Network fees reduce the on-chain balance when transfers execute; splits are calculated in wei and any rounding remainder stays with the community.

CIR is not trustless
The founder controls the treasury wallet through a Ledger. It is not a multisig. The site calculates allocations, prepares transfer amounts and checks transaction receipts; it cannot sign or send funds without the treasury wallet's approval.
| COMPONENT | HOW IT WORKS |
|---|---|
| NFT ownership and ETH transfers | Recorded on Ethereum; the site reads them through RPC providers. |
| Resonance, Fragments, Residus, Wefts, queue and votes | Off-chain services and databases operated by the project. |
| Listings and floor prices | External market data, recorded by the service; readings can be delayed or unavailable. |
| Draws | Public randomness beacon and published proofs that anyone can recompute. |
| Treasury transfers and community purchases | Founder-controlled execution. A recorded vote does not execute a transaction by itself. |

Limits to understand
Production capacity is limited. Market data and off-chain services can fail or lag. The floor-protection cap limits a claim to 20% of the total request payment; it does not eliminate market manipulation. Community allocations depend on the funds actually available and on founder execution. A paid order that is rejected is refunded in full to the original payer; the refund is complete only after a successful on-chain transaction.
